Important to note
*Application Fee: In addition to the Tuition Fee, non-refundable.
**Enrolment Deposit: Due immediately. All programmes non-refundable deposit R 10 000.
International Student Levy: R10 000. All first time enrolling International Students will be required to pay the International Levy before enrolment.
Media City Academy reserves the right to withdraw or make changes to any programmes or content thereof. NSFAS funding cannot be used at Media City Academy, as it is a Private Institution.
How The fees process works
Your financial journey with Media City Academy is designed to be transparent, structured, and supportive. The fee process aligns directly with your enrolment journey, ensuring that each step is clear and professionally managed.
- Application Fee – R1 900 (or R1 950 for certain programmes)
A non-refundable application fee is required to initiate your application. This fee covers the administration, processing, and verification of your documents. It must be paid within ten working days of submitting your form via ZOHO online payment or EFT. - Enrolment Deposit – R10 000 (credited toward tuition)
Once your application is provisionally accepted and you’ve completed your On-Set Experience Tour, you will be required to pay a non-refundable enrolment deposit of R10 000.
This deposit secures your place in the programme and is credited toward your total tuition fees. - Tuition Fees and Payment Plans
Each programme has a clearly defined tuition fee, with the option to pay in structured monthly instalments.
Examples include:
- 1-Year FET Certificate: Tuition R70 000 | Instalment option R6 167 x 10 months
- 1-Year National Certificate: Tuition R86 925 | Instalment option R5 958 x 10 months
Students who settle their tuition fees in full during the first term qualify for a 10% early payment discount.

- The application fee and enrolment deposit are both non-refundable.
- The enrolment deposit is credited toward your tuition balance.
- International students are required to pay an International Student Levy of R10 000 prior to enrolment.
- As a registered private higher learning institution, Media City Academy operates independently of NSFAS funding mechanisms.
